To Our Campers,
We are all closely monitoring the situation regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19). RKC is preparing for a successful and healthy summer. In line with other seasonal campgrounds and programs, we are following the recommendations of the CDC and the American Camping Association, as well as the recommendations from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services. In light of COVID, what is the current pay date and refund policy?
Payment is due in full by June 1, 2020. We have extended our payment due date from the traditional May 1 to June 1. An effort will be made to stay open longer in the season if there is a delay in opening.
What information will help support RKC's decision to operate this summer?
RKC's communicable disease plan for COVID-19 will be developed using information provided by the Centers of Disease Control (“CDC”), American Camp Association (“ACA”), Association of Camp Nursing (“ACN”), and state regulatory agencies. Once the communicable disease plan for COVID-19 is developed, it will help determine whether it is safe and possible for RKC to operate and under what potential restrictions.
I am able to go to work during the day and stay at the camper. Does this fit the reqirements?
Yes. The object is to keep your exposure to a minimum. Going to work is what you've been doing all along, just respect the social distancing about the campground and please, don't mingle with the locals until this is all lifted 5/31.
Is camp currently open to visitors?
In response to the emergency stay-at-home order issued March 27th, by NH Gov. Chris Sununu , requiring all non-essential organizations to close and discouraging unnecessary travel, RKC has made the decision to close our property to guests at this time. The season does not begin until May 15, 2020, and we will continue to update the community. It is our greatest hope to see guests of our members return 5/31.
